Ranjith Drops G For Gold With Mohanlal?

As we all know, director Ranjith was not keeping a healthy relationship with Mohanlal earlier. But, they patched up and worked together for the movie Spirit, which was a Blockbuster. Recently, news were in air stating that Ranjith and Mohanlal are all set to join hands together for another project titled G For Gold. But, now reports claim that they have dropped the project!

The exact reason behind dropping a big project is yet to be revealed. According to sources, Ranjith had planned to do a movie with Mohanlal and Manju Warrier along with Prithviraj also in the movie. The film was rumoured to be tilted as Man Friday then. It was then confirmed by Ranjith that the title is yet to be finalised.

After sometime, Ranjith again chucked out Manju Warrier and Prithviraj from the movie saying that after completing the script, he could not find suitable and important roles for Manju and Prithvi. People were shocked to hear this news, but they were happy that there is a film coming up for Mohanlal with Ranjith. But, now reports say that Ranjith has finally decided to drop the project. Some say that Ranjith will be making the movie with a different name in the coming year.

This news might a big shock for all Mohanlal fans as G For Gold was a much anticipated movie of the actor for the year. But, there is a good side too as Mohanlal is loaded with movies for 2014. Koothra, Peruchazhi, Lucifer, Memory Card, Mr Fraud and many more are in store from Mohanlal for all his fans.
