Drishyam,
the
biggest
hit
of
2013,
has
once
again
become
the
talk
of
the
town
and
this
time
for
another
reason.
The
movie
has
become
the
first
film
in
Malayalam
to
enter
the
Rs
50
crore
club.
Directed
by
Jeethu
Joseph,
the
movie
has
also
won
the
Best
Movie
award
for
the
year
2013
and
many
more
awards.
Drishyam
told
a
very
simple
but,
a
happening
story.
People
were
all
praise
for
the
unbeatable
script
of
the
film,
which
was
written
by
none
other
than
the
director
himself.
The
movie
told
about
a
hardworking
farmer,
who
is
an
orphan.
He
lives
contentedly
with
his
wife
and
two
daughters
when
an
unexpected
misfortune
hits
their
family.
How
he
manages
to
save
his
family
from
it
is
the
movie
all
about.
The
movie
was
produced
by
Anthony
Perumbavoor,
under
the
banner
of
Aashirvaad
Cinemas.
The
total
budget
of
the
movie
was
approximately
five
crores
and
now,
the
total
gross
of
the
movie
has
crossed
oevr
fifty
crores
of
rupees,
which
is
indeed
the
first
time
for
any
Malayalam
movie.
Drishyam
reached
the
fifty
crore
club
including
theater
collections,
audio-video
satellite
rights,
remake
rights
and
world
gross.
It
is
still
running
successfully
all
over
the
released
theaters,
which
clerly
indicates
the
hype
of
the
movie
even
now.
Now,
the
movie
is
getting
remakes
in
all
the
languages
including
Hindi
and
Kamal
Hassan
will
reprise
Mohanlal
in
the
Tamil
and
Hindi
versions.
