Fahad Fazil will pair up with Marathi actress Radhika Apte in the upcoming movie Isam directed by the editor-director Vinod Sukumaran. Isam, which is said to be a realistic urban love story, is penned and edited by Vinod Sukumaran himself. Satish Kurup handles the cinematography. The movie will go on floors by October.
Radhika Apte, who made her debut in the lead roles with the Bengali movie Antaheen, is very active in Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Telugu and Tamil movie industries. She proved her mettle with the roles in the movies, Rakthacharithra I & II, Shore In The City, I Am and Lai Bhaari. The actress will also play a pivotal role in the upcoming Bollywood movie Badlapur.
Vinod Sukumaran, who has won the National Award for his non-feature film Diary Of A Housewife, is also an established editor. He has worked with the veteran movie makers Mahesh Bhatt and Subhash Ghai in Bollywood. Vinod has won the Best Editor Award in Kerala State Film Awards, for his work in the movie Ore Kadal.
Fahad Fazil, who tied the knot with actress Nazriya Nazim yesterday, is busy filming the upcoming projects Money Ratnam directed by Santhosh Nair and Double Barrel directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery. The actor will also play the lead roles in the upcoming movies Iyobinte Pusthakam, Maniyarayil Jinnu, Ivide, Vambathi, Cartoon and Untitled biopic of Kozhikkode Abdul Kader.
