Asif Ali, the young sensational actor of Mollywood, said that he would love to do more romantic roles in future. The actor also states that, he wants to work on experimental movies. Asif, who is on a high with the rave reviews for his performance in the latest release Apothecary, opened up about his future plans and dreams in a recent interview.
Asif says that he has learned a lot from the back-to-back box office failures he had in the recent times. The actor says that he has decided to be choosy about the movies in future and will give prior importance to the script.
Asif Ali's upcoming movie Sapthamashree Thaskaraha is slated to release on September 5th. He plays Shabab, a short-tempered young man, who turns into a theif due to circumstances. Asif will be sharing screen with Prithviraj in the movie. Earlier, it was rumoured that both the actors are in a cold war; but they brushed off the rumours by working together in Sapthamashree Thaskaraha, which is produced by Prithviraj himself.
Asif will be next seen in Driver On Duty directed by Manoj Palodan. He will play a police officer in the movie, for the first time in his career. His other projects are Vellimoonga and Nellikka. He will be playing a cameo role in Double Barrel, directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery, along with Sunny Wayne. Asif is also venturing into business with the newly opened cafe, Waffle Street.
