It's Not Mammootty But Mohanlal For Joshiy

Reports regarding veteran director Joshiy's next project, which stars Mammootty in the lead role, was doing rounds since last few months. But, according to the latest updates, it is not Mammootty but Mohanlal is playing the central character in the upcoming movie of Joshiy. If the reports are to be believed, Mohanlal will star in 2 consecutive projects of Joshiy, which includes the upcoming flick Lailaa O Lailaa.

Joshiy has recently announced a project with Mammootty, which will be penned by Ranjan Pramod. In another interview, Ranjan revealed that Manju Warrier will essay the central character in Joshiy's next. It was speculated that both the revelations refer to the same movie, which will bring the much awaited Mammootty-Manju duo onscreen.

But, the latest report suggests that the veteran director has put Mammootty project on hold, to start another Mohanlal starrer. It the reports are to be true, it will be a disappointing news for the fans of the Mammootty and Joshiy, who were eagerly waiting to watch the re-union of the veteran actor-director duo, after a long break of 6 years.

Joshiy and Mohanlal has been working together frequently since last few years. Last few projects of Joshiy, including Run Baby Run and Lokpal starred Mohanlal in lead role. Mammootty and Joshiy last worked together for the multi-starrer flick Twenty 20, in 2008. The duo has earlier worked together in some iconic movies including New Delhi, Dhruvam, Kauravar etc.
