Iyobinte Pusthakam Happened Because Of Fahadh: Amal Neerad
Iyobinte Pusthakam is getting huge acclaims from both the audience and critics. At this point of time, the director-cinematographer cum co-producer of the movie, Amal Neerad wants to thank only one person-the man behind the birth of Iyobinte Pusthakam. He is none other than the lead actor cum co-producer of the movie, Fahadh Faasil.
Amal Neerad says that Fahadh Faasil is the real reason behind the birth of the movie. Iyobinte Pusthakam faced lot of financial problems in the beginning stage because of its big budget. It was Fahadh who agreed to co-produce the movie along with Amal Neerad; thus making Amal's dream project real.
Amal Neerad and Fahadh Faasil first met in the sets of 5 Sundarikal, The anthology movie directed by Amal Neerad and friends. Fahadh Faasil played the lead role in the last segment named Aamy directed by Anwar Rasheed. It was Amal Neerad who handles the cinematography of Aamy. Amal says that he felt Fahadh is the most suitable face to portray Aloshy, the lead character of Iyobinte Pusthakam.
Amal Neerad is teaming up with Fahadh Faasil for the first time as a director. Jayasurya, who played the antagonist in the movie, is teaming with Amal Neerad and Fahadh Faasil, for the first time in his career. Amal Neerad has earlier teamed up with the rest of the actors, including Lal, Lena and Vinayakan in his various earlier projects.
