Kaaviya Thalaivan Turns Pradhinayakan!
Prithviraj starrer Kaaviya Thalaivan is all set to try the luck in Mollywood box office as well. The makers have decided to release the Malayalam dubbed version of the movie which is titled as Pradhinayakan, all over the Kerala. The Malayalam versions songs of the movie got released yesterday on iTunes. Prithviraj and other actors has posted the first look poster of the move in their official Facebook pages.
Kaaviya Thalaivan is a period drama set backdrop of twentieth century. The movie revolves around the theatre movement of Tamil Nadu and the lives of the popular dance drama artists S G Kittappa and K B Sundarambal. Along with Prithviraj, popular actor Siddharth will also essay another lead role. Vedhika plays the female lead in the movie.
Another interesting fact about the movie is, it will be the 2nd movie of Oscar Winning composer A R Rahman in Malayalam. Rahman has earlier composed songs for the popular movie Yodha directed by Sangeeth Sivan, which had Mohanlal, Madhoo and Jagathy Sreekumar in the lead roles.
Kaaviya Thalaivan is penned by popular Tamil-Malayalam writer Jeyamohan and directed by National Award winner Vasanthabalan. Nassar, Thambi Ramaiah, Ponvannan, Babu Antony and Anaika Soti will essay the other pivotal roles. Nirav Shah is the director of photography. Praveen L L and N B Srikanth handle the editing. The movie, which is produced by Varun Manian and S Sashikanth under the banner Ynot Studios, is expected to hit the theatres by November.
