Kaniha Replaces Nikki Galrani In Rudrasimhasanam!

Kaniha is on a high with the success of the recently released movie Mylanchi Monjulla Veedu. The actress is all set to be active in the field with a couple of promising projects. As per the latest reports, Kaniha has replaced Nikki Galrani as the female lead in the upcoming movie Rudrasimhasanam, opposite Suresh Gopi.

Rudrasimhasanam is directed by Praise The Lord fame Shibu Gangadharan and penned by popular novelist Sunil Parameshwaran. Nikki Galrani was replaced with Kaniha; because the actress is too young for the character Hymavathi, wife of Suresh Gopi's character Rudra Simhan.

Earlier it was rumored that the movie is based on the popular novel Bhadrasanam, written by Sunil Parameshwaran. But according to the latest reports, Rudrasimhasam is a completely fresh subject. Reports also suggest that the movie is a horror-thriller. If the rumors are to be true, Suresh Gopi, will be playing the role of a wizard in the movie.

Suresh Gopi and Kaniha has earlier shared screen in the Joshiy directed multi-starrer Christian Brothers, in which Kaniha played the role of Suresh Gopi's wife. The onscreen chemistry between the duo was highly appreciated by the audience. Reportedly, the actors, who are teaming up for the second time, will be appearing in totally different getups in Rudrasimhasanam.
