1983, Chayilyam Release Tomorrow

Mollywood industry kicked off the year 2014 with a low profile movie Life. Salala Mobiles starring Dulquar Salman and Nazriya Nazim is the biggest release so far. But, the movie failed to impress the audience. There is nothing novel in the film, which has put it to a side, says sources. Now, January 31 will see two movies releasing - 1983 and Chayilam.

1983 is yet another much anticipated movie of 2014. Nivin Pauly marks his start with this movie this year. Mollywood gets a new heroine with this movie, Nikki Galrani who plays the female lead. The movie deals with cricket in its backdrop. Jacob Gregory, Anoop Menon, Saiju Kurup, Joy Mathew, Dineshan Nair, Sanju, Seema G Nair, Srinta Ashab and many others are seen in supporting roles.

Chaiyilam is yet another release for tomorrow, January 31. Anumol plays the lead role in the film. She plays the role of a Theyyam artist in the film. Usually Theyyam is performed by males only. But, the director says that there is one particular Theyyam that is performed only by females and he has tired to portray the same in his movie.

London Bridge is a very much hyped movie. The film which was slated to get released during the month of August, 2013, will now be released on February 1. Prithviraj, Andrea Jeremiah and Nanditha play the lead roles in the film. Prathap Pothen, Mukesh, Lena, Sunil Sukhada and many others are seen in the supporting roles. The movie is completely shot in London. Prithviraj gets a new look in this movie.
