Major Ravi, the man who picturised the actual lives of the soldiers, has done all his movies with Mohanlal. Now, for the first time, the director is all set to direct Prithviraj in his next movie titled Picket 43.
It has been reported that Major Ravi had planned earlier to do the same movie with Mohanlal, which has now been offered to Prithvi. It is also said that Prithviraj agreed to do the movie after he heard the story. The movie is all about a soldier who becomes abandoned in a frozen place in Kashmir. All he has with him is a radio and also a dog.
The soldier survives the situation, over months without any contacts and he manages to come out of his mental imbalance, trying to protect the border lines. Now, a Pakistani soldier, who is also protecting his border line, is facing the same sitaution. The movie tells the friendship between the two soldiers. The movie also has romance and songs too.
Major Ravi says that there is no enemity between two soldiers but, the enemity is between the governments. He says that he directs movies to initiate patriotism among the young generations in India. The feeling of being an Indain should be there in the minds of everyone citizen, says the director. He also adds that each of his movies are a gist of what he has experienced personally.
Meanwhile, Prithviraj is currently busy with his movies 7th Day, Antichrist and then the actor is also in the of remake Koodevide in Hindi. Picket 43 will kick start only after he completes all this, claims reports.
