Mammootty's Gangster Releasing Today!

The much anticipated movie for the year 2014, Gangster, has finally hit the theaters today. According to reports, the movie is getting one of the biggest releases worldwide. Sources claim that the movie will be screened in 120 theaters in Kerala only and in 72 theaters outside Kerala, thus making it the biggest release in more than 190 theaters all over India.

Earlier it was reported that Gangster will be released in 120+ theaters. But, later the number of theaters got increased as the movie 7th Day, which was slated to get released along with Gangster got postponed to 12th. This has indeed given more theater count for Gangster.

The movie bagged an A certificate from the Censor Board as they claimed that the film has more elements of violence in it. Moreover the language usage is also too rude to handle. Gangster has no item dances in it.

There is only one song in the film and that is more of a devotional kinda. The promotional song for the film has been composed and sung by the famous Thaikkudam Bridge. The movie has a whole run of 137 minutes. The satellite rights of the movie Gangster has been bagged by Kairali TV.
