Mohanlal's
Drishyam
movie
was
uploaded
by
a
teenager,
thus
putting
the
movie
into
trouble.
More
than
four
lakh
people
watched
the
movie
online,
the
moment
the
film
got
released.
The
producer
lost
a
huge
sum
of
money
due
to
this.
Now,
Mohanlal
has
come
up
with
a
statement
thanking
the
Anti-Piracy
department
for
helping
them
to
stop
the
piracy
to
further
extent.
The
actor
wrote
on
his
Official
Facebook
page:
I
would
like
to
take
a
moment
and
let
you
all
know
how
much
I
appreciate
the
assistance
provided
by
the
Anti-piracy
cell
for
helping
us
in
controlling
Piracy.
They
are
highly
professional
and
prompt
when
responding
to
the
complaint
and
I
was
quite
surprised
at
the
pace
with
which
they
handled
the
investigation
this
being
a
sensitive
matter.
I
can
honestly
say
that
they
did
their
work
very
well;
I
wish
to
Congratulate
and
Thank
each
and
every
one
in
the
Anti-
Piracy
cell
for
their
help...
And
a
note
to
those
who
does
such
kind
of
uploading/downloading
and
selling
and
distributing
pirated
CD's
knowingly
may
please
refrain
from
such
things
or
else
you
are
putting
yourself
in
to
trouble
and
a
personnel
note
to
the
parents
who
provide
their
kids
with
all
modern
gadgets
&
technologies.
While
giving
this
please
make
sure
that
they
don't
intend
to
do
any
illegal
activities
like
uploading
and
downloading
copyrighted
content
from
internet,
as
you
all
know
it's
a
crime.
We
never
want
our
kids
to
be
in
trouble.
