Finally,
the
releasing
date
of
the
much
anticipated
movie
Peruchazhi
has
been
revealed.
As
per
the
latest
reports,
the
movie
will
be
releasing
on
August
29.
Starring
Mohanlal
in
the
lead,
the
movie
is
touted
to
be
a
political
satire.
Peruchazhi
is
directed
by
Arun
Vaidhyanathan.
Though
a
Malayali,
he
has
done
most
of
his
movies
in
Tamil.
So,
Peruchazhi
is
more
likely
to
get
its
Tamil
remake
too
and
rumours
are
doing
rounds
that
Kamal
Hassan
will
play
the
lead
in
the
Tamil
remake.
This
news
is
yet
to
be
confirmed.
Apart
from
Mohanlal,
the
movie
will
also
see
Mukesh,
Baburaj,
Aju
Varghese,
Sandra
Thomas,
Vijay
Babu,
Shankar
Ramakrishnan,
Sean
James
Sutton,
Ramesh
Pisharody,
Ragini
Nandhawani,
Andrea
Jeremiah
and
Poonam

in
supporting
roles.

shooting
which
was
progressing
at
Sacred
Heart
College,
Thevara
in
Ernakulam,
wrapped
up
on
5
July.
According
to
reports,
Peruchazhi
tells
the
story
about
two
friends
-
Viswanathan
(Mohanlal)
and
Minister
Raghavan
(Mukesh).
Both
are
good
friends
but,
they
are
rivals
when
it
comes
to
politics.
Viswanathan
is
an
aspiring
politician
who
is
popular
as
Peruchazhi.
The
twist
begins
when
Vishwanathan
is
sent
to
the
US.
He
is
illiterate
in
English.
He
is
sent
during
the
gubernatorial
election
with
the
mission
of
raising
the
political
graph
of
a
politician
who
failed
to
keep
his
promise
to
his
people.
The
film
then
progress
showing
how
Vishwanathan
struggles
to
finish
his
duty
and
how
he
survives
in
the
US
without
knowing
the
language
there.
The
political
thriller
movie
shows
the
political
conditions
of
both
America
and
India
in
a
satirical
way.
Peruchazhi
is
produced
by
Sandra
Thomas
and
Vijay
Babu
under
the
banner
Friday
Film
House.
Rumours
also
claim
that
the
movie
will
soon
be
remade
into
Telugu
and
Hindi
as
well.
