Mohanlal is all set to be a part for his best pal Priyadarshan's upcoming movie Aamayum Muyalum. But this time, the actor will not be physically present in the movie; but will mark his presence with his voice. Mohanlal will do the narration for the movie, which revolves around a village of thieves. The actor himself revealed the news through his official Facebook page. Aamayum Muyalum will have Jayasurya and Piaa Bajpai in the lead roles.
Mohanlal and Priyadarshan are close friends from childhood days. The duo completed the schooling and college education together. Priyadarshan made his directorial debut with Poochakkoru Mookkuthi, which had Mohanlal in the lead. Mohanlal who was getting stereotyped in the antagonist roles, got his first break as a lead actor with the movie.
The duo last teamed up for the Geethanjali, the spin-off of blockbuster movie Manichitrathazhu; but the movie failed miserably at the box office. If the reports are to be believed, Mohanlal and Priyadarshan will join hands soon for a new project, which will also have Mammootty, Sreenivasan and Mukesh in the lead roles.
Aamayum Muyalum is penned by Priyadarshan himself. The movie will star Nedumudi Venu, Sukanya, Innocent, Mamukoya, Harisree Ashokan, KPAC Lalitha, Nandu, Kochu Preman, Ambika and Sona Heiden in the supporting roles and Anoop Menon in an extended cameo role. Diwakar handles the camera. M G Sreekumar composes the music. The movie is slated to release for Christmas.
