Malayalam icon Mohanlal and director Unnikrishnan, who are basking in the success of Mr Fraud are all set to join hands for another flick. Director Unnikrishnan, who took his micro-blogging site to reveal the news on Mohanlal's 54th birthday said that the Malayalam icon will be the protagonist in the next film as well.
Unnikrishnan posted, "Today is Mohanlal's birthday and I just wished him. The occasion is also the right time to announce another great news - Mohanlal will be the lead in my next film too. The rest of the details will be divulged later." On the other hand Unni also added that the recent release Mr Fraud will be remade in Tamil and Hindi. Though his movie was criticised by few people, it made a huge buzz in Mollywood for its remake rights. "What to do, the corporates who took over the film to those industries have no sense of business," he added with a tinge of sarcasm.
The upcoming film will be the fourth combination of Unnikrishnan and Mohanlal after Madampi, Grandmaster and Mr Fraud. Amidst the ban imposed on the director Unnikrishnan from Malayalam film industry, Mr Fraud was released. It is said that the movie was allowed to hit-screen only for the sake of producers and other crews involved in it.
