Narasimham To Re-release On Dec 5

Mohanlal starrer classic action thriller, Narasimham is all set to be re-released. The movie will be screened at Gold Cinemas, Dubai on December 5th.The makers decided to re-release Narasimham to celebrate the 15th year of grand success. Narasimham was originally released on January 26, 2000.

The movie is penned by scenarist-director Ranjith, directed by Shaji Kailas and produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner Ashirwad Cinemas. Narasimham was a huge critical and commercial success and went on to become the highest grosser of 2000. The fans and media are all excited about the re-release of the movie and is looking forward to a screening in Kerala.

Narasimham To Re-release On December 5

Narasimham revolves around Poovalli Induchoodan, who returns from jail to avenge the people who trapped him. The movie, which can be included in the ‘Thamburan’ series of Mohanlal, is one of the biggest hits in the actor’s career. Thilakan played Indhuchoodan’s father, Justice M K Menon and N F Varghese portrayed the antagonist Manappalli Pavithran.

Aishwarya essayed the female lead opposite Mohanlal in the movie. Jagathy Sreekumar, Kalabhavan Mani, Saikumar, Bharathi, Kanaka etc played the other pivotal roles. The biggest surprise of the movie was the cameo appearance by Mammootty, in the role Adv Nandagopal Marar. The actor received highly positive reviews for his electrifying performance. The makers even planned a movie with the character by Mammootty, but the project didn't materialize due to some unknown reasons.
