Parvathi, better known as Parvathi Menon, who came into limelight as an anchor, is getting her kitty full in Mollywood. Though a Malayali by birth, the actress has not got much opportunities in the industry. She made her debut as an actress with the Malayalam movie Notebook, but later she flew to other South Indian languages.
Parvathi is all set to be a part of two Malayalam movies, claims sources. She will be seen in the Anjali Menon directed movie Bangalore Days as well as in Ennu Ninte Moideen opposite Prithviraj. The actress says that she is enjoying every bit of her shooting with the crew of Bangalore Days. This is her first movie with the young generation actors in the industry including Fahad Fazil, Dulquar Salman, Nazriya Nazim and Nivin Pauly.
Parvathi says that she has become more choosy in selecting good roles and says, "I'm doing only two films in Malayalam but I already feel I am working too much. As of now, I'm going around with my head in the clouds, travelling and doing my MA by correspondence alongside. I don't know what I want, but I do know that I don't want the usual stuff, the cliched stuff is just too mind-numbing. They sell, I know, but it makes me sad to know that. So no, I still can't be part of a film where there is no genuine passion, where you are sitting on the set and wondering what you are doing here. It's been nine years, and I thought I would loosen up with time, but I have only stiffened up more. I want to do only those films which come from a real place."
