Peruchazhi, the upcoming movie starring Mohanlal in the lead role got the U certificate from censor board. It is a hat-trick for the production house of the movie, Friday Film House, as the last two projects by the banner, Zachariyayude Garbhinikal and Philips & Monkey Pen also got clean certificates.
Peruchazhi is the first movie in Mollywood to be promoted in the railway stations and trains. The movie revolves around politician, Jagannathan who leaves for America to help his friend with the election campaigns. Mukesh plays Jagannathan's friend cum rival Francis Kunjappan.
Peruchazhi, is written and directed by Arun Vaidyanathan. The movie, which is slated to release on August 29th will have an ensemble star cast including Aju Varghese, Delhi Ganesh, Shankar Ramakrishnan, Vijay Babu, Baburaj, Ramesh Pisharody, Ashwin Mathew, Poonam Bajwa and Sandra Thomas in the pivotal roles. Ragini Nandwani plays the female lead opposite Mohanlal in the movie.
Ajayan Venugopalan pens the dialogues, Arvind Krishna handles the cinematography, Arrora handles the music score and Vivek Harshan handles the editing. The movie is distributed by Fox Star Studios and Friday Tickets.
