Peruchazhi, the upcoming political-comedy flick starring Mohanlal is making headlines with the varieties of promotional activities conducted by the team. Peruchazhi is the first movie in Mollywood to be promoted in the railway stations and trains. The movie's posters and logos will be displayed on the Parasuram Experss and Eranad Express from this week.
Malayalam movies are actively promoted through social media these days. Promoting movies in public places and transport systems is also a common practice in Malayalam cinema; but movie promotions in railway stations is a new experiment in the promotional strategies.
Peruchazhi is directed by Arun Vaidyanathan, who earned huge critical acclaims with his debut movie, Achchamundu Achchamundu. The movie is produced by Vijay Babu and Sandra Thomas under the banner Friday Film House. The movie is penned by Arun Vaidyanathan and Ajayan Vasudevan.
Arvind Krishna handles the cinematography and Vivek Harshan handles the editing for the movie. Arrora composes the music score. The movie will feature Mukesh, Aju Varghese, Delhi Ganesh, Shankar Ramakrishnan, Vijay Babu, Baburaj, Ramesh Pisharady, Aswin Mathew and Sandra Thomas in the supporting roles. Ragini Nandhawani plays the female lead opposite Mohanlal in the movie.
