Prithviraj's latest release 7th Day has received good response and the actor is riding high with the appreciations he is getting for his role in the movie. Prithvi has become a noted actor in Bollywood, he debuted with Aiyya opposite Rani Mukherjee. The film didn't do well but Prithiviraj was noticed.
He was later seen in Aurangzeb, where he played the role of a cop from Haryana with a grey shade. The actor was widely appreciated for his performance in the movie. He got nominated for INB Live Movie award for the best supporting role in a movie.
He not only got nominated, Prithviraj went on to win the award for best supporting role. The other contenders for the award included Nawazuddin Siddiqui (The Lunchbox), Saqib Saleem (Bombay Talkies), Zeeshan Ayub (Raanjhana) and Varun Sharma (Fukrey). Prithvi was even going to be part of Farah Khan's Happy New Year but he had to opt out of the project due to reasons unknown.
