Raveendran Turns Story Writer For Mohanlal-Manju Movie

Raveendran
will
make
his
debut
as
a
writer,
with
the
Mohanlal-Manju
Warrier
starrer,
directed
by
Sathyan
Anthikad.
Raveendran
writes
the
story
for
the
movie,
which
will
mark
the
comeback
of
one
of
the
most
celebrated
on-screen
pair
Mohanlal
and
Manju
Warrier,
after
a
long
gap
of
15
years.
Raveendran
was
one
of
the
most
celebrated
actors
of
80's
and
popular
for
his
performances
in
dance
sequences.
He
is
popularly
known
as
“Disco”
Raveendran.
The
actor
took
a
break
from
acting
by
early
90's
and
ventured
into
business.
He
has
occasionally
appeared
in
some
movies
and
made
a
come
back
in
full-fledged
role
with
Kili
Poyi,
directed
by
Vinay
Govind.
His
performance
in
Aashiq
Abu
directed
Idukki
Gold
earned
rave
reviews.
Along
with
Mohanlal
and
Manju
Warrier,
actor-MP
Innocent
will
also
play
a
pivotal
role
in
the
movie.
Rest
of
the
cast
is
yet
to
be
finalised.
Ranjan
Pramod
will
pen
the
script
for
Raveendran's
story.
Samir
Thahir
is
the
director
of
photography.
Vidyasagar
composes
the
music.
The
movie,
which
is
produced
by
Antony
Perumbavoor
under
the
banner
Ashirwad
Cinemas,
will
go
on
floors
by
November.
