Sheela and Jayabharathi, the star actresses of Mollywood are all set to act together in the upcoming Jayaram starrer Sir CP, after a long gap of nearly two decades. Both the actressses will play pivotal roles in the movie. Sheela and Jayabharathi were highly celebrated leading ladies of Malayalam cinema in 60's and 70's. The actresses has earlier shared screen in the popular movies like Kannappanunni, Kadalppalam, Sharashayya, Paadunna Puzha etc.
Sir CP is reportedly a family entertainer directed by Shajoon Karyal. Honey Rose will play the female lead opposite Jayaram in the movie. The movie is penned by A Suresh Babu. Manoj Pillai is the director of photography.
Sheela has earlier shared screen with Jayaram in the movies Manassinakkare and Ulsaha Committee. The actress made a comeback to movies after a long break of 17 years, with Sathyan Anthikad directed Manassinakkare. She had won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in the movie Akale, post comeback.
Jayabharathi is currently on a break from movies. The actress was last seen in Mohanlal starrer Onnaman, in 2002. Jayabharathi's son Krish J Sathaar recently made his acting debut with Siddique directed Mohanlal starrer Ladies And Gentleman. Sir CP will be the comeback vehicle for the actress, who is highly active in field of dance.
