Srinda Ashab Is On A High!

One may not easily forget Srinda Ashab. Though she played supporting roles in all the films, Srinda's character had an element in it, which made her quite popular. Her role in 22 Female Kottayam as well as in 1983 says it all. Now, the actress seems to be on a high. Finally, she gets the chance to play the female lead in a movie!

Srinda will be seen playing the female lead in the movie Homely Meals. Debutant Vipin Atlee plays the male lead in the film. Anoop Kannan, who made his debut as a dircetor with the film Jawan Of Vellimala, will be helming this movie.

If reports are to be believed, the shooting of the film is almost done and is currently in its post-production stage. The rest of the cast include Manoj K Jayan, Kailash, Nedumudi Venu and many others. News claim that there are many new faces in the film.

The story and the screenplay has been written by the director himself. The movie is produced under the banner of LJ Films. The director plans to release the movie for Onam.

Meanwhile, Srinda has signed many other projects too including Manglish. Hope that Homely Meals will become the real break through for Srinda as an actress.
