V K Prakash To Direct Asif Ali

V K Prakash will direct Asif Ali in his upcoming movie, which will be scripted by the duo Bobby-Sanjay. Asif Ali is joining hands with V K Prakash for the first time in his career. The actor has earlier associated with the scenarist duo Bobby-Sanjay in the Rajesh Pillai directed blockbuster movie Traffic.

V K Prakash, who is currently filming for the Marathi remake of acclaimed movie Shutter, was actually planning a movie with Fahadh Faasil in the lead. But the project got delayed due to Fahadh's other movie commitments.

Bobby-Sanjay duo is on a high with the success of their latest release How Old Are You, which marked the comeback of the exceptionally talented actress Manju Warrier. The movie went on to become a huge critical and commercial success and is all set to get remade in Tamil and Hindi. The duo is currently working on a script for Roshan Andrews's Prithviraj starrer.

Asif Ali is currently filming for the upcoming movie Driver On Duty. The actor will be playing his first police character, in the movie directed by Manoj Palodan. Asif starrer latest movie Sapthamashree Thaskaraha, is running successfully in the theatres. He has earned rave reviews for his performances in the movie, which also stars Prithviraj and Nedumudi Venu in central roles. Asif Ali will also play the lead in Mylanchi Monjulla Veedu, co-starring Jayaram.
