Drishyam, the best movie in Mollywood, 2013, will be remade in Telugu. Telugu actor Venkatesh will be essaying the role played by Mohanlal as Georgekutty. Sripriya, who is an actress as well as a director, is remaking the movie in Telugu.
Drishyam was directed by Jeethu Joseph and was a Christmas treat for all the audience. After a very long time, the industry witnessed something worth watching. The movie has a family oriented subject as its theme was elaborated in a very convincing manner.
Mohanlal and Meena played lead roles in Drishyam. Mohanlal as Georgekutty is an uneducated person, who loves to watch movies and tries to implement the ideas conveyed in the film in his life too. A big problem stikes his family and from which he tries to come out and save his family from getting devastated through a hooked up plan made by him.
Mohanlal actually plays a villain role in the film, who tries to hide a fact, which the whole film revolves. Tamil actor Vikram has expressed his keen interest in doing the Tamil version of the film. The remake rights have been bagged by Suresh Balaji and reports claim that Vikram has already started his talks with him.
