Vijay Babu To Romance 2 Heroines in Nee Naa

Vijay Babu, the producer turned-actor, will romance two heroines in the upcoming movie Nee Naa, directed by hit maker Lal Jose. It is the first solo lead role for the actor-producer, who has earlier appeared in some popular movies, including the recently released Mohanlal starrer Peruchazhi, in which he played a negative role. Vijay is the producer of the popular movies Zachariyayude Garbhinikal and Philips & Monkey Pen.

He has earlier played the male lead in the recent move Escape From Uganda, which has Rima Kallingal in the central role. Nee Naa is the first project of Lal Jose, after his famous Kochi-London trip. The movie which is said to be a women centric flick, is penned by popular ad film maker Venugopal Ramachandran. The female leads of the movie are yet to be finalized.

Vijay Babu started his career in Television field. He has worked with the popular Malayalam television channels including Asianet and Surya TV. The actor quit his television career to try a hand in film production and later ventured into acting. Vijay says that becoming an actor was his childhood dream and he is totally happy with his new found profession.

Lal Jose, who was in a short break, is all set to bounce back with two projects in hands. After Nee Naa, the director will immediately start the filming of the other project, which will have Nivin Pauly in lead role. Nivin has earlier appeared in Lal Jose's Spanish Masala and Vikramadithyan in cameo roles.
