Atul Kulkarni As Mohanlal's Villain

Atul Kulkarni, the Bollywood actor will play Mohanlal's villain in the upcoming movie Kanal. Mohanlal and Atul have earlier shared the screen in Major Ravi directed Kurukshetra and super hit Kannada movie Mythri.

Being one of the most sought after actors of Indian Cinema, Atul Kulkarni is extremely busy with a handful of films in various regional languages and Bollywood. He last appeared in M'town with the recent movie Nellikka.

As per the reports, Atul Kulkarni is playing an intense role in Kanal. The movie is directed by Padmakumar and penned by Suresh Babu. Kanal will also have actor-writer Anoop Menon in a very significant role.

Kanal is the story which revolves around the central character John David, played by Mohanlal. John arrives in the sand city with some hidden intentions. Anoop Menon essays a journalist, who follows John David.

The movie will have Honey Rose in the female lead. Honey will play John David's wife in the movie. Popular actress Nikita Thukral will make her comeback into M'town with Kanal. Sheelu Abraham plays another pivotal role.

Kanal is the second association of Padmakumar and Mohanlal, who have earlier associated for the super hit movie Shikkar. The movie, which is produced by Abaam Movies and Aashirvad Cinemas, will hit the theaters in October.
