B Unnikrishnan, the director who is also an active member of FEFKA, stated his full support for filmmaker Anwar Rasheed's anti-piracy movement. Unnikrishnan stated his stand through his official Facebook page.

The pirated video of Anwar Rasheed's latest production venture Premam has been going viral since last few weeks. Anwar has announced that he is resigning from Kerala Film Producers Association and FEFKA, as both the associations are not willing to help him.

But, Unnikrishnan stated that the association will not be accepting Anwar's resignation, as he is one of the most promising young directors of the industry. He confirmed that FEFKA will remain by Anwar's side.

According to Unnikrishnan, he has discussed with Anwar regarding the piracy issue. They have also caught some students, along with the pirated copy of Premam; but decided not to move legally considering their age.

Unnikrishnan assured that investigation upon the case has been progressing and producers association president Suresh Kumar has offered his complete cooperation for the same. He also added that he completely understands Anwar's disappointment.

In the meanwhile, anti-piracy cell has ceased a large number of pirated DVDs from Malappuram district, in the recently held raid. More details regarding the raid and sources of pirated videos are yet to be revealed.
