stated
his
full
support
for
filmmaker
Anwar
Rasheed's
anti-piracy
movement.
Unnikrishnan
stated
his
stand
through
his
official
Facebook
page.
The
pirated
video
of
Anwar
Rasheed's
latest
production
venture
Premam
has
been
going
viral
since
last
few
weeks.
Anwar
has
announced
that
he
is
resigning
from
Kerala
Film
Producers
Association
and
FEFKA,
as
both
the
associations
are
not
willing
to
help
him.
But,
Unnikrishnan
stated
that
the
association
will
not
be
accepting
Anwar's
resignation,
as
he
is
one
of
the
most
promising
young
directors
of
the
industry.
He
confirmed
that
FEFKA
will
remain
by
Anwar's
side.
According
to
Unnikrishnan,
he
has
discussed
with
Anwar
regarding
the
piracy
issue.
They
have
also
caught
some
students,
along
with
the
pirated
copy
of
Premam;
but
decided
not
to
move
legally
considering
their
age.
Unnikrishnan
assured
that
investigation
upon
the
case
has
been
progressing
and
producers
association
president
Suresh
Kumar
has
offered
his
complete
cooperation
for
the
same.
He
also
added
that
he
completely
understands
Anwar's
disappointment.
In
the
meanwhile,
anti-piracy
cell
has
ceased
a
large
number
of
pirated
DVDs
from
Malappuram
district,
in
the
recently
held
raid.
More

regarding
the
raid
and
sources
of
pirated
videos
are
yet
to
be
revealed.
