Malayalam Cinema 2015: Celebrity Weddings Of The Year

Personal life of the celebrities has always been in the limelight; no matter how much they have tried to keep it private. The audiences and media are always keen to know what is happening in the personal life of their hot favorite actors.

It is absolutely doubtless that the fans and media are in the news with some spicy content; rather than the usual film news. This makes each and every celebrity wedding of the industry more important than any other events happening at the same time.

2015 was not a highly eventful year for the Malayalam movie industry; unlike 2014. While 2014 witnessed some of the most celebrated weddings in the history of the industry; 2015 has almost passed, with the low-key weddings of our favourite stars.

Deepu Karunakaran, the Fireman director was the first celebrity to marry this year. Deepu, who is also the younger brother of yesteryear actress Suchitra, married Archana Mohan in a traditional ceremony held at Trivandrum.

Popular actors including Mammootty, Manianpilla Raju, Kavya Madhavan etc attended the wedding. Deepu Karunakaran was followed by the popular actress Mithra Kurian, who married musician Williams Francis. It was also a traditional low-key affair.

Amal Neerad-Jyothirmayi wedding was the most surprising wedding of the year. The couple went on to shock the movie industry, media, and, fans who were completely unaware about their romantic relationship. They tied the knot in a simple ceremony, held in the presence of family and close friends.

The star-studded wedding of the year was the Alphonse Puthren-Aleena Mary Antony wedding. Alphonse married Aleena, the daughter of popular film producer Alwyn Antony, the owner of Ananya Films. It was a love cum arranged marriage for the Premam director.

Most of the popular celebrities of the Malayalam movie industry, including Mammootty, Mohanlal, Prithviraj, Fahadh Faasil, Nazriya Nazim, Dulquer Salmaan, Nivin Pauly, Sai Pallavi, Tamil actor Siddharth etc attended the engagement and wedding ceremonies.
