Dileep & Vedhika In 'Welcome To Central Jail'

Dileep and Vedhika will play the lead roles in the upcoming comedy entertainer Welcome To Central Jail, directed by popular film-maker Sundar Das. The duo has earlier paired up in the 2013 movie Sringaravelan.

Sundar Das, who gave Dileep a major breakthrough with his directorial debut Sallapam, is teaming up with the actor after a long gap of 13 years. They last associated for the superhit comedy entertainer Kuberan, in 2002.

It was reported that Dileep had a fallout with the director and decided not to work with him again, a few years back. According to the recent reports, the duo sorted out their differences and rekindled their friendship.

Welcome To Central Jail, which is said to be an out-and-out comedy flick, is penned by Benny P Nayarambalam. The movie, which will have popular actors of the industry in major roles, is produced by Vaishak Rajan.

It is a comeback for Vedhika into Mollywood, after a short gap. She was approached for some popular movies of 2015 including Chandrettan Evideya and Amar Akbar Anthony. But the actress turned down the offers due to her busy schedule.

She has also signed the upcoming Prithviraj movie James And Alice, directed by cinematographer Sujith Vasudev. Dileep, on the other hand, is all set to release his Christmas movie Two Countries, directed by Shafi.
