Shamna
Kasim,
the
actress
who
hopes
to
have
an
image
breaking
role
soon,
says
that
the
directors
in
Malayalam
movie
industry
are
reluctant
to
cast
talented
Malayali
actresses
and
opt
for
other
language
heroines.
The
actress-dancer
opened
up
her
deep
disappointment
over
the
M'town
directors,
in
a
recent
interview.
Shamna
says
that
she
has
been
receiving
more
good
offers
from
Tamil
and
Telugu
movie
industries.
Shamna
has
recently
alleged
that
director
Rajesh
Pillai
cheated
her
by
chopping
off
her
portions
from
the
latest
movie
Mili.
The
actress
claimed
that
she
had
an
important
role
in
the
script;
but
it
was
later
reduced
into
a
minimal
role.
According
to
Shamna,
the
director
even
refused
to
shoot
her
portions
in
the
allotted
dates
and
she
was
forced
to
spend
almost
2
weeks
in
the
sets
of
Mili,
without
work.
But
some
other
sources
suggest
that
Shamna
demanded
for
another
role
in
the
movie;
to
the
much
displeasure
of
the
director.
But
Rajesh
Pillai
and
producer
of
Mili,
hasn't
commented
on
the
issue
yet.
Shamna,
on
the
other
hand,
is
busy
with
her
other
language
projects
and
dance
programmes.
The
actress
says
that
she
plans
to
take
a
break
from
M'town,
to
avoid
stereotyped
roles.
