It's Not Trisha; But Huma Qureshi With Mammootty

Mammootty, the mega star is not romancing Trisha; but Huma Qureshi in the upcoming movie White, directed by Uday Ananthan. The team confirmed that it is Huma who plays the female lead opposite Mammootty.

Earlier, it was reported Huma Qureshi is roped in for the movie; but later, some sources suggested that Trisha has replaced her as the leading lady. But as per the latest reports, Trisha was not approached for the film.

Reportedly, it was Mammootty who suggested Huma Qureshi to essay the female lead, when director Uday Ananthan narrated the script to him. The director feels that Huma is the perfect choice to play the role.

Sources suggest that Huma Qureshi is extremely excited about the movie and has already started learning Malayalam, to get in to the character. She has reportedly turned down a few big budget venture for White.

So, it has been confirmed that Trisha is not planning to make her Malayalam movie debut in near future. It is a disappointing news for the her Malayali fans, who were waiting to watch her in a Malayalam movie.

White revolves around a middle-aged man who falls in love with a much younger woman. The movie will be entirely shot in London. The movie is said to be featuring Mammootty in an out-and-out romantic avathar.
