Lal Jose And His Ideal Woman

Lal Jose, the brilliant filmmaker who has introduced some extra-ordinary heroine faces into the Malayalam movie industry, opened up about his ideal woman concept, in a recent interview given to Malayala Manorama daily.

The director says that women, including his mother, wife, daughters, teachers and friends; have influenced him in a very positive way, throughout his life.

According to Lal Jose, an ideal woman is the one who can smile wholeheartedly. He says that he likes the women who have a great humor sense. Lal Jose states that common sense is another quality a woman should posses.

Lal Jose is one of the filmmakers, who has always been very particular about the way the way he present his leading ladies. The director states he would like to present his heroine as a bold yet balanced woman.

He doesn't believes in presenting his female leads as a silent supporter of the hero. At the same time, he manages to balance between the boldness and hyper-activeness.

The roles played Samvritha Sunil and Anusree in Diamond Necklace, Ann Augustine in Elsamma Enna Aankutti etc are some good examples for the ideal heroine characters of Lal Jose.

The director is currently filming for the upcoming movie Nee-Naa, the first women-centric project in his career. Ann Augustine and former Miss Kerala Deepti Sati will play the central characters in the movie.
