Lena,
the
actress
who
has
proved
her
mettle
with
a
bunch
of
versatile
roles,
says
that
she
won't
act
in
mother
roles
anymore.
Lena
made
such
a
decision
to
avoid
getting
stereotyped.
According
to
the
actress,
she
accepted
the
role
of
Jayasurya's
mother
in
Happy
Journey,
as
she
wanted
to
take
a
break
from
bold
roles.
Later,
Lal
Jose
approached
her
with
the
role
of
Dulquer
Salmaan's
mother
in
Vikramadithyan.
The
actress
was
excited
to
depict
by
the
character
from
the
ages
of
20's
to
mid-50's;
thus
accepted
the
role.
Later
Lena
was
offered
with
a
mother
character
in
upcoming
movie
Ennu
Ninte
Moideen.
She
felt
that
it
is
really
challenging
to
play
the
role
of
Prithviraj's
mother
in
the
movie
and
decided
to
accept
the
offer.
After
these
three
brilliant
mother
roles,
filmmakers
have
started
approaching
the
actress
with
only
mother
roles.
Lena,
who
felt
that
she
is
being
stereotyped,
rejected
some
prestigious
projects,
including
the
character
of
Nithya
Menen's
mother
in
recently
released
100
Days
Of
Love.
In
the
meanwhile,
Lena
took
a
break
from
M'town
and
made
her
Tamil
movie
debut
with
Dhanush
starrer
Anegan.
She
will
soon
make
her
Bollywood
debut
with
Akshay
Kumar
movie
Airlift.
