Malayalam Eid Releases 2015

Malayalam movie industry is all set to welcome the Eid season. As of now, Mollywood will have 7 prestigious projects hitting the theatres this Eid season. It is a crucial period for M'town after the uneventful June.

The censoring of films has been put on a halt due to the Premam piracy controversies. The censor board has stopped functioning for a few days, as the leaked copy of the film was a censored print.

The investigations upon the issue have been progressing in both Kerala and foreign countries. Raids have been conducted on the censor board office and the studios, where the editing and mixing were done.

Premam piracy issues led to the theatres owners association to strike; which badly affected the releases of the films last week. Baahubali, the much-awaited movie had a very limited release in Kerala, due to the strike.

The theater strike was expected to badly affect the Eid releases; but the active interference from the side of producers and distributors associations has helped in solving the issues faster.

As per the latest updates, Mammootty starrer Acha Dhin, Dileep starrer Love 24x7, Kunchacko Boban-Biju Menon duo's Madhura Naranga etc are some of the major films which will hit the theatres for Eid. Mohanlal doesn't have an Eid release this year.

Acha Dhin

Acha Dhin is the Mammootty starrer movie directed by Marthandan. Mansi Sharma essays the female lead in the movie, which is penned by AC Vijeesh.

Love 24x7

Love 24x7 is the debut directorial venture of writer Sreebala K Menon. Dileep essays the lead role in the movie. Suhasini appears in a pivotal role. Debutante Nikhila Vimal essays the female lead.

KL 10 Patthu

The movie, directed by debutante Muhsin Perari will have Unni Mukundan in the lead role. Aju Varghese and Saiju Kurup plays the pivotal roles.

Madhura Naranga

The Sugeeth directed movie stars Kunchacko Boban and Biju Menon in the lead roles. Debutante Parvathy Ratheesh essays the female lead.

Jilebi

Jilebi, directed by Arun Shekhar will have Jayasurya in the lead role. Remya Nambeesan essays the female lead. KPAC Lalitha, Vijayaraghavan, Shari etc essays the pivotal roles.

Rudrasimhasanam

The Shibu Gangadharan directed movie stars Suresh Gopi in the lead role. Nikki Galrani, Swetha Menon and Kaniha plays the female leads.

Viswasam Athalle Ellam

The Shine Tom Chacko starrer movie is directed by Jayaraj Vijay. Ansiba Hassan essays the female lead. Shankar Panicker essays a pivotal role.
