Mammootty In Lijo Jose Pellissery's Next Movie?

If the reports are to be believed, Mammootty will likely play the lead role in Lijo Jose Pellissery's next movie. According to the rumour mills, Mammootty has committed the project, which is reportedly based on O V Vijayan's popular novel, Khasakkinte Ithihasam.

The sources suggest that the popular production banner, Friday Films has already roped in Lijo Jose Pellissery, to direct their next project. If the rumours are to be true, the banner will produce Lijo's Mammootty starrer flick.

Both Mammootty and Lijo Jose Pellissery has not commented on the reports yet. The project is expected to have an official announcement soon.

Lijo Jose Pellissery, son of popular actor Jose Pellissery, made his directorial debut with the movie Nayakan, which had Indrajith in the lead role. He rose to fame with Amen, a satirical romantic-comedy, which had Fahadh Faasil and Indrajith in the lead roles.

The director is currently busy with the post-production works of his upcoming multi-starrer flick, Double Barrel. Lijo Jose also ventured in to acting, with a pivotal role in recently released Sapthamashree Thaskaraha, directed by Anil Radhakrishnan Menon.

Mammootty, on the other hand, is extremely busy with his committed projects; including Bhaskar The Rascal. The movie, directed by Siddique, is expected to hit the theatres on April 10th.
