Mammootty-Nayantara starrer upcoming social thriller
Puthiya Niyamam has been
postponed to January 2016. The movie, which is written and directed
by AK Sajan,
was initially slated to release on December 24th, Thursday.
The crew is yet to reveal the reason behind the sudden change in
the release date. According to the sources, the team decided to
postpone the release, as the post-production works are yet to be
finished. The actual release date will be announced soon.
It has also been rumoured that Puthiya Niyamam is postponed, as
the team wants to avoid the box office clash between
Puthiya Niyamam and Dulquer Salmaan's Charlie. But the
reports are not confirmed yet.
Puthiya Niyamam revolves around the intercaste
couple, Adv Louis Pothan and Vasuki Iyer. Louis, who belongs
to an orthodox Christian background, is a strong believer of
communist ideologies. He is also a film critic and social
Vasuki is a Kathakali artist, who is from a traditional Brahmin
family. The movie will also have Baby Ananya, Aju Varghese, Jayaraj
Warrier, Vinay Forrt, Rachana Narayanankutty, Sheelu Abraham, etc
in the supporting roles.
