Mammootty To Play A Nameless Character In 'Acha Dhin'

Mammootty, the big M of Mollywood, is all set to essay a nameless character in the upcoming movie Acha Dhin. The actor will play a man who returns from Jharkhand to Kochi, after a long hiatus of 20 years.

Padmaraj Ratheesh, son of veteran actor Ratheesh, will essay a pivotal role in the movie, directed by Marthandan. Acha Dhin is penned by Immanuel fame A C Vijeesh.

As per the reports, Acha Dhin is an out-and-out comedy entertainer, which revolves around the character played by Mammootty. A popular Bollywood actress will essay the female lead opposite Mammootty in the movie.

It is for the first time in his career, Mammootty is playing a nameless character. Recently, Suraj Venjarammoodu has portrayed a nameless character in Perariyathavar, for which he won the National Award for Best Actor.

Telugu actor Kishor will play the antagonist in the movie. Manianpilla Raju, Renji Panicker, P Balachandran, Sudheer Karamana, Kunjan, Anjali Aneesh Upasana, Molly Kannamali etc will appear in the supporting roles.

Pradeep Nair handles the cinematography. Acha Dhin is produced by Mammootty's former makeup artist George, under the banner CYN CIL Celluloid. The movie is slated to release for Onam 2015.
