Manju Warrier, the star actress of
M'town, will share the screen with young actor Prithviraj soon.
As per the latest reports, Manju will make a special cameo
appearance in the upcoming Prithviraj starrer movie Paavada.
According to the close sources, Manju Warrier is playing herself
in the movie. Paavada, which is said to be a comical
entertainer, is directed by Marthandan. The movie will also have
Menon and Asha Sarath in the pivotal role.
Mia George plays the female lead opposite Prithviraj in the
movie. The filming of Paavada is progressing at various
locations of Idukki district. Manju Warrier is expected to film her
portions by the second week of September.
Manju Warrier was initially planning to make her comeback into
the movie, with the Ranjith directed project. Mohanlal and
Prithviraj were roped in to play the male leads in the movie. But
the project was shelved due to technical reasons.
It was also rumoured that Manju Warrier will play the central
character in Paavada, after Shobana turned down the
project. But director Marthandan slammed the rumours and announced
that Shobana has been replaced with Asha Sarath.
Manju, on the other hand, is receiving several film offers from
the prestigious banners and filmmakers of Mollywood. But the
actress is very choosy about the films. Her upcoming movie Rani
Padmini will hit the theatres in October.
