RESPECT: Mohanlal Donates Organs!

Mohanlal, the magical actor of Malayalam movie industry has set an example for the society. In a recent event, Mohanlal revealed that he had made the decision to donate his organs a few years back.

He was addressing the audience at the inaugural function of Organ Donation Campaign, at Mar Baselios College, Trivandrum. Mohanlal stated that organ donation is one of the most sacred deeds and remarked that organs can be used by anyone, anywhere crossing barriers.

The actor reminded that it is our responsibility to take care of health and preserve the body, once we decide to donate organs. It is a well-known fact that, by donating the body, we can save five lives at a time.

The event also turned out to be an overwhelming experience for Mohanlal, who met his die-hard fan from Poland. Berthos Serenotta, is a physically-challenged person hails from Poland, who visited Kochi just to meet Mohanlal.

The actor, who was overjoyed by meeting Berthos, decided to spend some quality time with him, despite his highly busy schedule. Interestingly, he is the author of the description about Mohanlal in Polish Language, in the actor's Wikipedia page.

Berthos revealed that Iruvar is his most favourite Mohanlal film ever. The last Mohanlal film he watched was Drishyam. He has also written several blogs about South Indian cinema and currently researching on the political lives of South Indian actors.
