Mohanlal Is A Natural Actor: Priyadarshan

Priyadarshan, the hitmaker who is also popular for his deep friendship with actor Mohanlal, says that he has never felt that the actor is over-acting. He says that Mohanlal is a complete natural actor.

The director was talking in a recent interview, given to Nana Weekly. He points out that Mohanlal will act in front of the camera like he is totally unaware about a camera is placed in front of him.

He also recalled legendary filmmaker K Balachandar's words about Mohanlal acting, in the interview. During a casual conversation, Balanchandar had spotted out the major differences between the acting styles of Mohanlal and Kamal Haasan.

The veteran director stated that Kamal Haasan is a method actor, as he is well aware that he is acting in front of the camera. But Mohanlal will totally forget about the camera while he is acting.

Priyadarshan feels that K Balachander's findings were true. But according to Mohanlal, his performance is totally related to the performances of his co-stars. The actor believes that a bad performance of a co-actor will affect his screen presence.

Mohanlal-Priyadarshan duo last teamed up for the psychological thriller Geethanjali, which was a box office disaster. The duo will soon team up for a new flick, which has been rumoured to be a political thriller.
