Mohanlal's Loham: Release Postponed

Mohanlal starrer upcoming action thriller Loham will hit theatres for Onam 2015. The movie, which is written and directed by Ranjith, was initially slated to release for Ramzan 2015.

As per the reports, the movie is based on the gold smuggling business, which is wide-spread in Kerala. Mohanlal will essay taxi driver Raju. Popular actress-singer Andrea Jeremiah will essay the female lead in the movie.

Loham revolves around Jayanthi, a young lady who hires Raju's taxi for a trip. Later, the duo realises that they have a common goal and decides to join hands to achieve the same.

Sources suggest that Loham will be a perfect comeback for Mohanlal into mass roles. The movie is very crucial for the actor, who has been going through a low phase due to the failures of his last few movies.

Mohanlal and Ranjith last teamed up the critically acclaimed super hit movie Spirit, which dealt with the topic alcoholism. Loham is a track change for Ranjith, who has been staying away from commercial films since last few years.

Kunjunni S Kumar handles the cinematography for Loham. Sreevalsan J Menon composes the music. The movie is produced by Antony Perumbavoor, under the banner Aashirvad Cinemas.
