What Is Mohanlal's Take On Stray Dog Issue?

Mohanlal has always been vocal about the issues happening around him. In his recent personal blog post, Mohanlal discusses the stray dog issue. The blog post, which has been titled as 'Kadikkunna Pattiye Pottunnavar' has already gone viral.

The actor states that most of the discussions and arguments are made upon how to avoid killing the stray dogs. But nobody has thought about how to reduce the increasing number of stray dogs.

He feels that the public is responsible for the drastic increase of stray dogs. Mohanlal stated that waste materials which are dumped in public places is a major factor which helps stray dogs to survive.

It will also result in the quick growth of rabies infected dogs; which is an even more dangerous issue. Mohanlal stated that killing the stray dogs is a cruel thing; but it is the only remedial measure for the issue.

Mohanlal said that he is an ardent dog lover and owns four dogs. But when it comes to the stray dog issue, the actor insists to be practical, as several young kids and adults were attacked by the dogs.

He also criticized the Government for taking the issue too lightly. Mohanlal feels that Government is completely clueless about the remedial measures. He concluded the blog by stating that the public should rethink their decisions upon the issue.
