Premam Piracy: Culprits Caught By Anti-piracy Cell

heading
towards
new
developments.
The
anti-piracy
cell
has
arrested
the
culprits
from
Kollam
district.
Shockingly,
the
culprits
are
three
school
students,
who
are
studying
in
11th
and
12th
classes.
The
investigation
team
has
brought
the
culprits
to
the
Crime
Branch
headquarters,
for
more
enquiries.
It
has
been
suspected
that
the
students
got
the
copy
of
the
film
from
piracy
mafia
members.
The
culprits
have
direct
foreign
contacts.
According
to
the
investigation
team,
the
movie
was
initially
uploaded
to
the
website
called
kickass.com,
on
June
22nd.
But
the
censored
copy
of
the
movie
was
leaked
before
May
19th,
much
before
its
release.
Premam
was
screened
before
the
censor
board
members
on
May
18th.
The
board
members
had
instructed
to
increase
the
font
size
of
anti-smoking/drinking
scrolls.
The
editing
was
completed
at
the
Trivandrum
studio
on
19th.
The
team
immediately
handed
over
the
DVD
to
the
censor
board,
after
the
editing.
The
censor
board
issued
the
certificate
on
May
19th
itself.
The
investigation
has
been
progressing
based
on
the
copy
which
was
given
to
censor
board.
Anwar
Rasheed,
the
popular
filmmaker
who
produced
Premam
and
the
director,
Alphonse
Puthren
haven't
commented
on
the
arrests
yet.
A
popular
person
from
the
film
industry,
who
hails
from
Trivandrum,
is
being
suspected
upon
the
issue.
