Premam Statements: Kamal Bashed On Social Media
Director Kamal, who criticized Premam movie, has been bashed by the social media for his offensive statements. Kamal has recently stated that Premam misleads the youth with the romance track between a student and teacher.
The trollers point out that Kamal's Mammootty starrer movie Mazhayethum Munpe has portrayed the story of a college student who falls for her professor. They state that Kamal has no rights to criticise Premam, as his movie dealt with the similar subject.
Mazhayethum Munpe is considered as one of the best ever love stories made in Malayalam. The movie had Mammootty in the role of the professor while Annie essayed the student. Shobana and Sreenivasan appeared in pivotal roles.
Kamal is one of the directors who has revolutionized the Malayalam romantic movies with his exceptional films. It is highly surprising that a veteran director like him publicly offended a movie, which emerged as the highest ever grosser of M'town.
Premam lead actor Nivin Pauly, director Alphonse Puthren, and producer Anwar Rasheed haven't replied to Kamal's comments yet. But the veteran director's comments has reportedly not gone well with the industry.
Recently, director Balachandra Menon has highly praised Premam and the team behind the movie through his official Facebook page. He has appreciated the makers for making such an interesting film out of a simple theme.
