Prithviraj,
the
actor
who
was
supposed
to
share
the
screen
with
Mohanlal
in
the
upcoming
movie
Kanal,
has
backed
out
from
the
movie.
Prithviraj
turned
down
the
project
due
to
his
tight
schedule.
Reportedly,
the
team
was
planning
to
start
the
filming
of
Kanal,
from
the
first
week
of
August.
But
later,
the
project
was
preponed
to
May,
due
to
the
delay
of
some
already
announced
Mohanlal
project.
But
the
decision
of
the
crew
was
not
favourable
for
Prithviraj,
who
has
already
committed
two
upcoming
projects
for
the
months
of
May
and
June.
Thus,
the
actor
decided
to
back
out
from
Kanal.
As
per
the
close
sources,
Prithviraj
will
join
the
final
schedules
of
his
upcoming
projects
Anarkali
and
Ennu
Ninte
Moideen,
in
May.
The
actor
will
later
join
the
sets
of
Nadhirshah's
Amar
Akbar
Anthony.
If
the
rumours
are
to
be
true,
Prithviraj
has
moved
out
of
Loham,
the
upcoming
Mohanlal
project
directed
by
Ranjith.
The
actor
was
supposed
to
make
a
cameo
appearance
in
the
film.
Earlier,
Lal
Jose's
Mohanlal-Prithviraj
project
titled
Cousins
was
shelved,
due
to
the
creative
differences
between
Mohanlal
and
the
director.
According
to
the
reports,
a
Mohanlal-Prithviraj
movie
will
not
materialise
in
the
near
future.
