Prithviraj Is A Fan Of Ilayathalapathy Vijay!

Prithviraj, the young talented actor of Mollywood, is a diehard fan of Tamil star Ilayathalapathy Vijay. No, we are not talking about the real life; but it is all about a movie character.

If the reports are to be true, Prithviraj will play a strong Vijay fan in the upcoming movie Paavada, directed by Marthandan. Prithvi's character is a small town youngster named Joy, who is a chronic alcoholic.

Earlier, Prithviraj had played a Mammootty fan in the comedy entertainer One Way Ticket. The movie also had Mammootty in a cameo appearance as himself; thus making his first collaboration with Prithviraj.

Paavada will also have Anoop Menon in another pivotal role. He plays Prof. Babu Joseph, another alcoholic. Paavada revolves around the bonding between Joy and Babu Joseph, who belong to totally different backgrounds.

Asha Sarath, the actress-dancer essays a key role in the movie. Initially, the role was offered to veteran actress Shobana. But the actress truned down the offer, as she was not satisfied with the script and her characterization.

Prithviraj will be next seen in the upcoming comical entertainer Amar Akbar Anthony, directed by Nadhirshah. The movie will hit the theatres on October 16th, Friday.
