Problems Started On My Wedding Day: Kavya Madhavan

Kavya Madhavan, who made a comeback to movies after divorce, is finally ready to open up about what went wrong in her marriage life. In a recent interview, Kavya revealed that problems started on her wedding day.

The actress got married to Nishal Chandra on February 2009, at Mookambika Temple. Kavya, who is a devotee of Mookambika Devi, says that her wedding was disturbed by repeated power cuts; which is considered to be a bad omen.

She believes that it was an indication from the Devi about the future issues; but both the families chose to ignore it. It has been widely believed the marriages which take place on Mookambika Temple doesn't last.

But Kavya is still a strong devotee of Mookambika Devi and says that no bad experiences can change her faith. The actress has performed several times at the popular Saraswathi Mandapam of the temple.

Kavya Madhavan shifted to Kuwait with Nishal immediately after her wedding; but returned to Kerala within a few months. Even though the actress remained tight-lipped about the divorce; Nishal had alleged that Kavya was cheating him.

He claimed that Kavya was having an illicit affair with a popular Malayalam actor and continued the same even after marriage. But the actress, later filed complaints against Nishal for domestic violence.
