Remya Nambeesan, the popular
actress-singer of M'town, is highly calculated about her future.
The actress opened up about her current projects and future plans,
in a recent interview given to a popular Malayalam media.
Interestingly, Remya revealed that she is planning to venture
into some other aspects of the movie industry, including filmmaking
and choreography, soon. The actress says that she took a break, as
she is not interested in playing similar characters in films.
The actress planning to direct a film within two years. Remya
says that she is interested in dance choreography as well and
considers veteran actress Shobana as her role model. She is also
planning to concentrate more in her playback singing career.
It is a fact that Remya is one of the overly typecasted heroines
of Malayalam movie industry. At the first phase of her career, the
actress was zeroed into the village girl characters.
But, she made an excellent comeback, with her extra bold role in
Chappa Kurishu. But later, the actress again made a
mistake by accepting similar kinds of roles; especially the
characters with negative shades, in the second innings as well.
Remya Nambeesan was almost disappeared from M'town from 2014,
but recently made a special appearance in Mohanlal starrer
Lailaa O Lailaa. She will be next
seen in the upcoming films Lukka Chuppi and Jilebi.
