Samvritha Sunil: The New Proud Mother!

Samvritha Sunil, the actress who left the movie industry after tying the knot with software engineer Akhil Jayaraj, gave birth to a baby boy on February 21st. The baby is reportedly named Agasthya Akhil. Both mother and baby are doing fine.

The actress has been staying away from the lime light since 2012. Samvritha moved to US with her husband Akhil; immediately after the marriage. The actress retired from the movies; following her marriage and has no plans to make a comeback.

She has been completely inaccessible for the media and fans after migrating to US. The delivery news has come a pleasant surprise to many of the fans. Samvritha last appeared in 101 Weddings, directed by Shafi.

Samvritha Sunil made her acting debut with Kamal directed Ayal Kadha Ezhuthukayanu, as a child artist. Samvritha was supposed to make her lead role debut with the popular character Balamani, in the movie Nandanam; but the actress turned down the offer due to her 10th grade exams.

She made her lead role debut with Lal Jose's Rasikan; in which she played the female lead opposite Dileep. The movie was a huge box office disaster and earned negative reviews from the audience and critics.

After a series of flops, the actress tasted success with her roles in the movies including Vasthavam, Arabikkatha, Chocolate etc. Samvritha later established herself as the leading actress of M'town with the popular movies Cocktail, Diamond Necklace, Ayalum Njanum Thammil etc.
